EXAMPLE: PANTHERA APPLIANCE
This streamlined appliance has the upper and lower arches connected by straps that can be easily removed and adjusted to determine the amount of lower jaw advancement.
INTERLOCKING
DORSAL FIN APPLIANCES
The dorsal fin appliance has two independent pieces that are not connected together but do interlock. The upper piece has adjustable segments that can be modified to control how much the lower jaw should be advanced.
